Our standard policy is to retain data for 7 years from collection or last update. In some cases we may need to retain data for longer periods for legal reasons. In other cases such as marketing where details may change more often we will retain the data collected for as long as appropriate and in line with Direct Marketing Institute best practice guidelines. In all cases we aim to retain personal data we collect from you for as long as necessary for the purposes for which the personal data was collected or where we have an ongoing legitimate business need to do so or to comply with applicable legal, tax, or regulatory requirements. Even if you close your account, we will retain certain information in order to meet our obligations.
