The networks of the future will be predominantly cloud based (virtualized), managing higher volumes of data at higher speeds and ensuring reliable connections between sensored devices. This means that new management techniques have to be incorporated for managing the networks, so that they deliver the expected dynamicity, speed and scale. This will require build-up of the capabilities of the underlying Operation Support System, especially reliability and real-time orchestration.
